About Us
Ernakulam- Angamaly Arch diocese is one of the biggest dioceses in India. The mission of the Archdiocese is spread over to four districts such as Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Trissur. Archdiocesan Corporate Educational Agency (ACEA) is an important department which aims at the general education of the children. It is incorporated with the Archdiocesan educational council which includes all spheres of education field.
ACEA was a dream of our late Cardinal Antony Padyara Archbishop of the Archdiocese and an attempt was made by Mgr. J. Karedan but could not be fulfilled because of many reasons. However his follower Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil and Mar Thomas Chakyath the Auxiliary Bishop took up the task of the formation of corporate educational agency and began the procedure with Mgr.Varghese Njaliath who was the secretary to archdiocesan education council. But it remained in individual managements. Fr. Jacob Palackapilly was appointed as the new secretary to the education council of the Archdiocese. He strived to fulfill the dream of its formation with the full support of the Archbishop and others. Thus the corporate educational Agency was established on 11 October 2010. Fr. Jacob Palackapilly was appointed as the first corporate manager of the Agency. He was transferred to the post of secretary to KCBC education commission on 03 February 2014. There are 83 schools under this management including LP, UP, HS, HSST.
And the present manager is Rev. Dr. Abraham Oliapurath and Asst. Manager is Fr. Varghese Alukka.
